Quick start

  1. Install BlogBuddy from the Shopify App Store. No configuration needed, the app opens on its home dashboard.
  2. Run a content health check in the bulk editor. It finds posts with missing SEO titles, descriptions, tags or alt text, and fixes them with AI in bulk.
  3. Generate one post with AI to see how the writer works: pick a title idea, a tone and keywords, then review the draft.
  4. Turn on Autopilot and approve its first plan. Keep posts as hidden drafts if you want to review each one before it goes live.

Current limits worth knowing

  • The CSV importer accepts files up to 50 MB and up to 100,000 articles per file.
  • Manual bulk edits, CSV exports, blogs and authors are unlimited on every plan, including Free.
  • AI actions draw from one monthly credit pool that resets on the 1st. See Credits & Billing for what each action costs.
  • Article audio narrates the first 20,000 characters of a post, cut at the last full sentence.
  • The cluster tool manages up to 20 internal links per article.

Tip

Every AI feature in BlogBuddy is approval-first: Autopilot shows you the plan before writing, cluster suggestions wait in a review table, and drafts mode holds every post until you publish it. Start with Content Autopilot to see the whole loop.
