BlogBuddy Terms of Service

These terms apply when you install or use BlogBuddy, a Shopify app for writing, editing, and improving store blogs. By installing the app you agree to them. If you're using the app on behalf of a business, you're agreeing for that business.
The service
BlogBuddy lets you manage blog posts in bulk, generate and improve content with AI, convert posts to audio, schedule posts, organize topic clusters, and view Google Search Console performance for your blog. Features vary by plan and may change as the app evolves.
Plans, billing, and credits
Subscriptions are billed through Shopify on your regular Shopify invoice. Prices and plan limits are shown in the app before you subscribe. AI features consume credits from your plan's monthly pool; unused credits don't roll over. Plan changes and cancellation happen through the app or by uninstalling. Refunds follow Shopify's billing rules.
Your content
Your blog posts, images, and store data stay yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run the features you use (for example, sending an article's text to an AI provider when you ask for a rewrite). AI-generated text, images, and audio produced for you belong to you once delivered.
AI content, honestly
AI output can be wrong, generic, or off-brand. Review anything the app generates before you publish it. You're responsible for what appears on your store, including checking that generated content is accurate and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We make no promises about search rankings, traffic, or sales.
Acceptable use
Don't use BlogBuddy to publish content that's illegal, deceptive, infringing, or harmful, and don't attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, resell, or disrupt the service or its credit system. We can suspend accounts that do.
Third-party services
BlogBuddy runs on Shopify and uses OpenAI (text and images), ElevenLabs (premium audio voices), and, if you connect it, Google Search Console (read-only). Their availability is outside our control, and your use of Google services through the app is also subject to Google's terms. How we handle data from these services is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app fast and reliable, but it's provided "as is" without warranties. Outages happen, and we may add, change, or retire features. If we retire something meaningful, we'll say so in the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Ending things
You can stop any time by uninstalling the app; billing stops per Shopify's rules and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end service for breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above will change and meaningful updates will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
