The brief
Gunam Beauty came to me the best way a project can: as repeat work. After the Tarun Tahiliani launch, the Pallavi Nopany team brought me their next brand, a beauty line with a minimalistic, clean layout where every detail of spacing and type matters. With a design this restrained there is nowhere to hide; the challenge, again, was delivering it exactly like the Figma file.
The build
This time I had the playbook. I used Prestige as the base again, because I knew its architecture well and liked its approach: solid commerce logic out of the box (cart, drawer, search, product templates) with clean extension points for custom sections. Knowing exactly where the base ends and the custom work begins is what makes a conversion fast, and the whole build shipped in 45 days.
The result
The custom layer followed the same discipline as the design: reusable snippets for product cards, prices and badges so a change happens once, section schemas so every image and line of copy is editable in the theme editor, and responsive lazy-loaded imagery so the minimal look also feels instant. The client runs the whole site themselves now, which is the real test of a theme build.
