Work Details
The brief
Dorahi is a direct-to-consumer women's fashion brand selling co-ord sets, dresses, tops and ethnic wear. I built their entire storefront from scratch as a headless build: Shopify stays the commerce backend for products, cart and checkout, while the site itself is a custom Next.js app I own end to end, from architecture to deployment on dorahi.com.
The build
The interesting parts are the growth features most stores rent apps for. Shoppable video stories on the homepage, a spin-the-wheel coupon engine with its own API route, a wishlist, gamified featured-coupon sections, and confetti moments in the buying flow. All of it is first-party code, so there are no app subscriptions, no injected scripts, and no widget that breaks when something updates.

The result
Around the shopping experience sits real operational plumbing: customer login through Shopify's Customer Account API, Judge.me product reviews wired in through its API, a self-serve returns flow that emails the team through Resend, a contact pipeline, an Instagram feed, an automated Google Merchant Center XML feed for Shopping ads, and full analytics coverage with GA4, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity. Content updates revalidate on demand through a Shopify webhook, so the site stays static-fast but never stale.
